Red Armero i Adrover
Collita 2000
Light red garnet color, with purplish edges, of average cap.
Clean and very brilliant. Net aromas of average intensity that
remind one of red berries in season, on a vegetable bottom.
Honeyed recollections and stem of geranium.
Attacks the mouth, softly hot, that gives way to a light,
savory taste and of marked acidity that denotes quickness
and joviality.
Clean retronasal, with marked notes to husk and again fruity.
Dry final, fresh, a little tannic and of easy drink, with
a post-taste of intermediate persistence, slightly bitter.
D.O./Zone: Plà i Llevant of Majorca. Varieties of grape:
Cabernet
Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Callet. Gastronomy: Hot first
dishes, traditional stews, slightly elaborated white meats.
Consume: short term, from now to 12-16 months.
Temperature of service: between 14° and 16°C.
Jaume Mesquida Red Cabernet
Sauvignon
Wine elaborated with grapes Cabernet Sauvignon (90%) and
Merlot(10%) . There presents an alcoholic graduation of 12,5%
Vol. Presents an intense color. In nose it is opened in a fan of
wild aromas that remind one of blackberries, cranberries and
fruits of the forest, aromatized with spicy aromas from the
aging process.
In mouth it is stout, warm, with a few very present tannins
that predict an easily improvable wine in five years in bottle.
The end is long and agreeable with predominances of retro-
taste of coffee and chocolate.
Jaume Mesquida Pink Cabernet
Sauvignon
Varietal wine 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It presents an
alcoholic graduation of 12,5% Vol. This wine constitutes the
maximum expression of the variety elaborated in pink. A red
color presents cherry with purplish shades. The aroma is
powerful and fruity with subtle spicy tones.
Fresh in mouth, it produces a sensation nevertheless dense
with a velvet end.
Miquel Oliver AIA 99
Selection of grapes Merlot 5 months in new cask of American
and French oak.
Macià Batle Red Crianza
Once more one insists on the work with the Binissalem's
traditional grapes, but supported in this case by a Cabernet
that helps to create a complete pigmentation and a structure
with importance to overcome an aging of several months in
cask. After the vivacious cherry color, the nose gives in this
red wine a clearly Mediterranean character, full of maturing
fruit. In mouth it turns out to be tasty, slightly hot and
ethereal, and with a few tannins probably not too evident
but mature and round.
Hereus de Ribas Red Crianza
"Collita Especial"
Carrys the portrait of a Mediterranean wine but with the
philosophy of the good red wines of other refined limits
because it is born of the Black Mantle, the Tempranillo and
the Cabernet Sauvignon. It detaches aromas of well mature
black grapes with memories of blackberries, plums and
certain menthol touches. The wood is present only for lack of
time that smooths its edges. Though, the tannins in mouth
are soft and nice, with a tasty expression of mature fruit.
Red FINCA SON BORDILS
99
Varietys (50%) Merlot, (20%) Manto Negro, (10%) Callet,
(15%) Cabernet and (5%) Sirah.
The grapes that form this harmonious "coupage" were
gathered in its ideal moment of ripeness, according to every
variety. With the variety Merlot they tried to obtain the
black fruit and the brown aromas. The varieties Callet and
Black Mantle contribute to this wine with heat and a certain
degree of tipicity. The variety Cabernet helps to give body to
the wine. The wine rested for three months in casks of mixed
American and French oak. Very covered intense ruby color.
In nose it is complete and interesting. Very present fruit;
especially very mature red fruit. Well integrated wood with
vanillates clear tones and light recollections of regaliz and
coffee. In mouth it is very powerful and stout.
Very present tannins that guarantee a good evolution that
will be able to extend during at least four or five years.
Red Gran Vinya Son
Caules
Varietys Callet (70%), Merlot, Cabernet, Shira, Manto Negro
(30%). A wine with cap, intensely red with violet edge.
Very complex aromas that remind us of preserved fruits,
wild fruits, especially the blackberry, aromas to leather,
toastings, to combination of spices. Very silky in mouth, long
and with very much body.
Round and balanced, with a dried fruit retronasal.
12 months in (new) casks of French and American oak.
